Yoshihito Imai

Career

Yoshihito Imai began his studies at Waseda University in Tokyo in 1996 and received a Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical engineering in 2000. He focused on friction technology at Waseda University.

After studying mechanical engineering, Mr. Imai was part of the intellectual property department of a Japanese automotive manufacturer from 2000 to 2003.

Mr. Imai worked in a patent law firm in Osaka from 2003 to 2013. He has been registered as a Japanese Patent Attorney since 2005. He was relied upon by Japanese clients in the automotive and electronics industries for patent prosecution in cases before the Japan Patent Office and various overseas patent offices. He also worked for overseas clients on patent prosecution cases in Japan and performed translations. Mr. Imai became a European Patent Attorney in 2018.

Mr. Imai has been with Müller-Boré since 2013.
