Career

Anna Elia studied physics at the University of Bari beginning in 2004. After completing her Bachelor of Science degree, she attended the University of Padua where she earned a Master of Science degree in 2009 with a thesis relating to renormalization group techniques applied to the large-scale structure of the universe.

She received her doctorate in 2012 at the Argelander Institute for Astronomy, University of Bonn, for her research work in the field of cosmology. During her studies she was a member of the Bonn-Cologne Graduate School (Honors Programme) and a teaching assistant.

Dr. Elia was admitted as a European Patent Attorney in 2017 and as a German Patent Attorney in 2020, after completing her training at Müller-Boré, the German Patent and Trademark Office and the Federal Patent Court.

Anna Elia has been with Müller-Boré since 2014.
