Career

Andreas Schepers studied mechanical engineering at the Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule (RWTH University) in Aachen, specializing in automotive engineering. He completed his degree 2009 with his final thesis “Analysis of gripping systems for the automated handling of fibre reinforced plastic semifinished parts”.

He gathered industrial experience during his studies through internships inside and outside of Germany, mainly in the automotive sector.

Before attending RWTH University, Andreas Schepers worked as a web-content developer for a Japanese internet technology company for two years, where he was responsible for the content of a portal website in the gaming section.

Until the age of 20, Andreas Schepers lived in Tokyo, Japan. He graduated from the German School in Tokyo Yokohama (DSTY), one of the two German foreign schools in Japan. Andreas Schepers grew up speaking German and Japanese and is a native speaker of both languages.

Andreas Schepers qualified as a German Patent Attorney in 2013 and as a European Patent Attorney in 2014, after he was trained at Müller-Boré, the German Patent and Trademark Office, and the German Federal Patent Court.

Andreas Schepers has been with Müller-Boré since 2009. He became a partner in 2017.
