Career
Dr Helena Schöwerling studied law at the Ludwig Maximilians-University in Munich. She completed her legal traineeship in Munich and London, inter alia in law firms specializing in IP/IT law. In parallel to her work at the Chair for Information and Intellectual Property Law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, she completed her doctorate with a comparative law thesis on copyright law.
Dr Helena Schöwerling joined Müller-Boré in 2022. Previously, she worked for a Munich patent and law firm specializing in intellectual property law and was responsible for "GRUR-Prax", a specialist journal on intellectual property law, at the publishing house C.H.Beck.
Focus
The focus of her work at Müller-Boré is on trade mark and design law, in particular the development of trade mark strategies, trade mark portfolio advice and support, and the conduct and coordination of disputes.
